Happy new year everyone, we hope you managed to have a great break and enjoy some of that beautiful summer sunshine! Read on for a quick reminder about key dates, 2nd half of the season and updates on our batting cage and fundraisers.
Hangi tickets
We still have hangi tickets available for purchase for this Saturday - Hangi includes Porkchop, chicken thigh, kumara orange and red, pumpkin, potato, cabbage, onion, carrots, stuffing. Pick up - Saturday 22 January at 5pm from the Kapiti College Marae (Margaret Road, Raumati Beach). Tickets can be brought online through our website.

Scratch cards
All our junior teams were given the opportunity to take scratch cards to help with our fundraising, if you didn't get one or didn't hear about it please reach out to your coach/manager (or directly to me). We still have some available and they will be issued to those teams that didn't receive any pre-Christmas. Many thanks to those that have already sold theirs.
Batting cage and whats next
Our batting cage is coming along, with a lot of activities scheduled for the next few weeks, including delivery of the container, power supply, and ground prep. Please take extra care at the park, as it will be, work in process over the next few weeks.
The next major milestone is fundraising enough for the fences. Early next week we will be launching our biggest fundraiser which will see individual and business sponsorships plaques that will have a permanent placement on the container. There will be limited chances to get in and purchase these, and it comes with an offseason pass, so keep an eye on our FB page and website for more information.
A massive thank you to everyone, it has been a big season of fundraising and I would just like to remind you all that we couldn't have gotten this far without you. The end goal will be worth it for many years to come and will give all our members an awesome training facility. Please please, jump in and support where you can.

Our premier teams have already restarted, and good luck to those that are attending tournaments over the long weekend.

Sunday 6 - Monday 7 February - Waitangi Weekend Premier Res/2 Men's Tournament
12 March - Junior Season Finishes
Saturday 26 - Sunday 27 March - Social and Prezzy Softball tournament

We always need extra help running our tournaments, if you are free and would like to help just let us know.
Your coaches and managers will also be in touch in the next few weeks regarding team photos and to confirm prize-giving dates.
